Walk in the mountains, cycle along the river or spend a relaxing afternoon by the lake: from Haus Rosmarin, you can head somewhere different every day. Niedernsill is also a lovely base for exploring the Pinzgau together in spring and autumn.
A swimming lake within walking distance
Niedernsill’s Badesee is about a five-minute walk from the house. Spacious lawns surround the swimming lake, with room to sunbathe, picnic or read a book. A designated non-swimmer area and a water slide make it a lovely spot for families too. Changing rooms and showers are available. Right by the lake is Die Libelle restaurant, where you can enjoy a delicious meal on the terrace. Prefer to eat together back at the house? You can also pick up a takeaway to enjoy at Haus Rosmarin.
Walking and cycling at your own pace
The Tauern Cycle Path follows the Salzach River. Its mostly flat route through the valley is ideal for a leisurely bike ride or a walk along the water. Prefer to head higher? In the surrounding mountains, choose a walk that suits your group, from a gentle outing to a more challenging mountain hike.
A day of exploring
Kaprun, Zell am See and Mittersill are around a fifteen-minute drive away. Spend a day by Lake Zell, head out onto the water or discover the nearby towns. There is information about day trips in the house, and the tourist office around the corner is happy to offer suggestions.
After a day outdoors, Haus Rosmarin gives you plenty of space to relax together. Cook something delicious, gather for a game or enjoy the last of the evening on the balcony.
